Terms & Conditions

As prescribed under Regulation 9 (14) of the Private Hire Vehicles (London) (operators’ Licences) Regulations 2000 provides that;
“The operator shall enter into a contractual obligation as principal with the person making the private hire booking to provide the journey, which is the subject of the booking, and any such contractual obligation must be consistent with the 1998 Act and these Regulations”

The Passenger (“You/Your”) either individual or body corporate the party making the booking for Carriage and the contracting party with the principal

1.Operator & Passenger Contractual Relationship

Al Qaswa Transport Ltd under the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998 has a contractual obligation to the passenger(s) to provide the journey which has been booked. There is no contractual agreement between the passenger(s) and the driver directly.
Al Qaswa Transport Ltd shall check that each driver maintains private hire insurance, regulatory and all other compliance obligations required by law as well as Transport for London.

It is very important for you to read and understand the Passenger Terms before using the Service (as defined in 2.1 below). By using and accessing the Service, You agree to these Passenger Terms. If you do not agree to these Passenger Terms, please do not use the Service.

2.Al Qaswa Transport Service

2.1 Al Qaswa Transport Ltd is a free platform (the “Service”) that allows You to book your journey(s) over the phone on its registered phone numbers through its email addresses & Website www.alqaswaTransport.com
2.2 When you submit a booking request for a Journey through the Website, Email, or Phone, Al Qaswa Transport Ltd will process your request.
2.3 Al Qaswa Transport Ltd will provide the following as part of the Service in connection with the Journey;
(a) Accepting and processing bookings as they are made by You or made on behalf of you;
(b) Identifying a Driver to Complete Your Journey;
(c) Keeping records of bookings;
(d) Monitoring trips booked through remotely to ensure the safety of Drivers and Passengers;
(e) Processing and managing complaints, questions, requests regarding lost and found items, and feedback through our customer support team. We encourage any and all feedback about Journeys to be provided through email, in accordance with applicable law and in line with the expectations of Transport for London.

Cancellation:

Al Qaswa Transport Ltd requires at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled collection/pick-up time if you wish to cancel or edit your booking without Penalty charges. Any cancellations made within 6 hours of the scheduled pick up time will be charged at the full rate.  Al Qaswa Transport Ltd reserves the right to charge the total price agreed for the journey. Cancellation must be made by phone, email, or message.

Changes to booking:

Changes to bookings you or your agent are generally treated as new bookings

No-Show without Cancellation:

In the case that You do not show up for your TS without cancellation within 30 minutes then Al Qaswa Transport Ltd will consider this a no-show and reserve the right to charge you in full for the journey.

Behavior and Safety in the Vehicle:

Al Qaswa Transport Ltd places the security of its drivers and passengers at all times, as paramount. The following behavioral standards apply to you at all times when traveling with Al Qaswa Transport Ltd.
During the entirety of the Transportation Services, all passengers must follow the regulations that apply to the relevant Road Traffic Act especially seatbelt regulations as instructed by Al Qaswa Transport Ltd drivers when required. Any instructions by Al Qaswa Transport Ltd must be followed.
It is the responsibility of Al Qaswa Transport Ltd to ensure the transportation services are undertaken safely. It is therefore prohibited for guests to open doors while driving, throw any objects from the vehicle, and/or stick body parts out of or shout from the vehicle.
If you wish to use any of the devices in the vehicle a brief instruction may be requested from the driver. Smoking is prohibited in any part of the vehicle. If You or your guests ignore this, You will be liable to pay not only the cost of cleaning the vehicle but also compensate for the loss of business due to the downtime of the vehicle. The consumption of food is discouraged. Alcoholic drinks are only to be consumed in the car with prior consent.

Lost Property:

Al Qaswa Transport Ltd accepts no responsibility for private property on our premises or in our vehicles, including accepting any liability should lost property be returned for any reason to someone who is not its owner – eg if someone makes a false representation to Al Qaswa Transport Ltd of ownership of property.
Property that is left on the premises will be kept for a period of three months, after which it will be disposed of.
In order for the property to be reclaimed, a detailed description of the item(s) and/or proof of ID (identity), and the date that the item was left will be required.
While every effort will be made to identify the possible owner of lost property (which is likely to involve searching for the item) and then make contact with them, Al Qaswa Transport Ltd will not return the property to that person unless they provide the details set out in the previous paragraph.
Al Qaswa Transport Ltd will not mail/courier or insure during transit any reclaimed found property back to the presumed owner unless they send the appropriate fees to cover packing and postage, and any insurance during transit stipulated by the claimant.
All items are sent at the owner’s risk.
Note that Al Qaswa Transport Ltd will NOT automatically arrange insurance during transit. Al Qaswa Transport Ltd will only arrange insurance during transit if it is specifically requested in writing at the time of reclaiming found property – and then Al Qaswa Transport Ltd will only arrange the insurance that is made available as “standard” by the carrier chosen by Parker Cars (so Al Qaswa Transport will Ltd not be liable for the suitability)

Complaint:

We take complaint very seriously and try our best to deal with them directly and resolve them as soon as possible.

Terms of Payments:

You are responsible for the payment of Your Transportation services either prior to travel or on completion of the journey. The payment conditions will be agreed upon by Al Qaswa Transport Ltd and you when agreeing on the contract for Transportation services. Credit card payments can be made directly with Al Qaswa Transport Ltd, via the Internet booking service, or if agreed with your driver on completion of the journey prior to exiting the vehicle. Al Qaswa Transport Ltd does accept cash in exceptional circumstances which must be agreed by Al Qaswa Transport Ltd prior to the Transportation services commencing.
